What Makes the ADT-126D Different
Most budget subwoofers in this range use a stamped steel basket — lighter to manufacture, but prone to flexing under heavy bass load, which adds unwanted resonance and reduces long-term durability.
The ADT-126D uses a cast iron basket instead, giving it better rigidity, improved heat dissipation, and a more stable platform for the voice coil — meaning tighter, more controlled bass even at sustained high power.
The voice coil is wound with EISV wire on a BASV former, built for better heat tolerance and mechanical stability under continuous RMS load — critical for a subwoofer rated at 600W RMS × 2, where lower-grade winding can degrade or lose linearity over time.
Combined with the carbon fiber cone and dust cap, the ADT-126D is built to handle demanding power levels reliably, not just on a spec sheet, but in actual sustained use.
