At 10:30 pm I Started My Company From Home. Here's How
Today is August 6th, Tuesday morning, 8:30 AM.
As always, I felt sleepy — thanks to my late-night work and early wake-up routine.
Still, I dragged myself into the day.
While working, I also received a few calls from my viewers, which I tried to attend in between.
As you may know, I also take orders from customers and assemble audio systems as per their requirements.
I work completely alone — no staff, no workers. Every bit of work, from customer support to technical assembly, is done by me.
Now it was almost 12 PM, and it was time for the usual purchase run.
I had to buy certain boards, parts, and materials — the essential stuff to keep things moving.
Like most days, I took my TVS RTR bike and went off for purchases.
Today, it took around 2 hours, and I spent nearly ₹8,000.
While returning home, my thoughts were circling around my dream — my own brand, "Alienz Audios."
I was supposed to launch my company at the beginning of this month. But… finances were a roadblock.
So I postponed the launch to sometime before August 15th, but even that now seems uncertain.
The core issue is still money.
I do have some investors who are interested in supporting my venture. But I don’t know when they’ll be ready.
I’ve decided to call one of them tomorrow and ask directly when we can move forward.
By the time I reached home, it was already 3 PM.
I had some food and got back to work.
But at the back of my mind, something else was bothering me — debt.
I owe some money to a few people, mainly a friend who’s been calling me.
I didn’t attend his calls. I was scared. What would I say if he asked for repayment?
Currently, I only have just enough for daily expenses and to keep the shop running.
No savings. No emergency fund.
If anything unexpected happens, I’ll be in real trouble.
Now it’s almost 7 PM.
Again, that friend is calling. But I’m not home. I’m about a kilometre away, just had a tea and was heading back…
And suddenly — boom!
I ran into him.
There was no escape. We spoke. But here's the twist —
He wasn’t calling me for money.
He was just checking in about my new business!
He’s the kind of person who lifts you up. He motivated me again and asked me:
"Why not build at least 10 products from home and start your business that way?"
By then it was 9:30 PM. The shops around were closing, and I was still thinking about his words.
He told me to just try — build something, use what I have, and post it on my channel.
Something in that moment clicked.
I came home and started looking around.
I found an old register book on my table. I opened it and began writing — the first plans for Alienz Audios.
It was 10:30 PM.
Later, I called my wife and daughter to join me in making some calculations.
We started checking what stock I already had.
To our surprise — we had over ₹80,000 worth of materials lying around!
We were all shocked. I had no idea I had that much ready.
That moment changed everything.
With that stock… I decided — no more waiting.
I’ll start my company from home.
No office. No showroom. Just passion, parts, and purpose.
Now the time is 3 AM.
And I’m here, ending this blog.
Alienz Audios has officially started.
